CVS opens 34 coronavirus testing sites in Ohio

WOONSOCKET, R.I. — CVS Health announced it will open 34 coronavirus testing sites at drive-thru locations throughout the state.

The list includes two local options:

• CVS Pharmacy, 7230 Market St., Boardman;
• CVS Pharmacy, 1331 Youngstown-Warren Road, Niles.

The new sites will use self-swab tests. Individuals must meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention criteria to be tested. Patients must register in advance at CVS.com beginning Friday to schedule an appointment.

Tests will be sent to an independent, third-party lab for processing, and the results will be available in approximately three days. According to the CVS website, testing will be conducted at no cost to patients.
