Stambaugh Auditorium is recognized as a Community Leader through their investment in expanding local news coverage. Thanks to their participation in the Community Leaders Program we are able to enhance areas of content in Mahoning County that were underserved in the past. Stambaugh Auditorium proudly supports Arts & Culture features and the inspiring stories about local art, entertainment and cultural events and the people behind them.

Through the generous bequest of Henry H. Stambaugh, a Youngstown industrialist and philanthropist, the Henry H. Stambaugh Memorial Auditorium was constructed and dedicated in 1926. In accordance with his wishes, the mission of Stambaugh Auditorium is to "be used for the enjoyment, entertainment, and education of the people of Youngstown and surrounding communities." In keeping with this mission, the non-profit public auditorium has proudly served the educational, cultural, and social needs of the community for nearly 100 years.

Stambaugh Auditorium is located on Fifth Avenue across from Wick Park in Youngstown, Ohio. The centerpiece of the complex is the Concert Hall which has a seating capacity of 2,553 and is renowned for its near-perfect acoustics. The auditorium also features an 8,800-square-foot ballroom (Jeanne D. Tyler Grand Ballroom), a recital hall (The Anne Christman Memorial Hall), and a formal garden at the southern end of the building, all of which can be rented for public, business, or private functions. The venue welcomes national and international performers on a regular basis while also hosting seminars, corporate, and private events along with a variety of non-profit fundraising events. Weddings at Stambaugh remain a staple providing the opportunity for many couples to use the building's beautiful architecture as a backdrop for their special day. Local high schools and some colleges use the Concert Hall each year to make their graduations memorable, and dance competitions from across the country take advantage of Stambaugh's facilities.
