YOUNGSTOWN — A drive-thru voter registration event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday (Sept. 19) in the parking lot of the Academy of Urban Scholars, 3405 Market St.
The nonpartisan outdoor event will offer the following services:
- New voter registration;
- Absentee ballot requests;
- Opportunity to check registration information or change registration address;
- Opportunity to sign up to be a poll worker.
Participants will be able to remain in their vehicles and use their own electronic devices. There is no cost to participate.
The deadline to register to vote in the November election is Oct. 5.
Staff members from the U.S. Census Bureau will be at the event to assist with the completion of the 2020 census form.
