Lit Youngstown to host annual Fall Literary Festival online
YOUNGSTOWN — Lit Youngstown will present the fourth annual Fall Literary Festival on Zoom Sept. 24-26.
The festival will be centered around the theme "In Many Tongues: Constituents of the Barbaric Yawp," a conversation bringing together writing and publishing, literary inclusion, translating and translation, dialect and dialog, atypical modes of speech and the generational, political, ecological and experimental elements that add to the wider literary conversation, a news release states.
The festival will include creative readings, craft talks, workshops and panel discussions on writing, reading, teaching, performing, editing and publishing creative works. Visiting faculty will share their experience and insights, and presenters will speak on a variety of topics.
The cost to attend the online festival is $45 ($10 for part-time faculty and graduate students). Scholarships are available. Undergraduate and high school students may attend at no cost.
