McDonough Museum of Art hosts 2 new virtual exhibitions

YOUNGSTOWN — The John J. McDonough Museum of Art, 525 Wick Ave., is hosting two new virtual exhibitions.

“ARTS: Artists Reaching & Teaching Students” highlights the artwork of Mahoning and Trumbull County high school art teachers and their students. The exhibition will run throughout the summer.

“#BlackLivesMatter #BlackArtistsMatter” highlights the artwork of historical and contemporary Black visual artists. Links for websites are included to learn more information about the artwork and artists. The McDonough Museum welcomes suggestions from the community for artists to feature. Suggestions can be sent to mcdonoughmuseumofart@ysu.edu. The exhibition will run indefinitely.

The exhibitions can be found on the McDonough Museum’s Facebook, Instagram and Twitter pages and will be archived on the McDonough Museum website.
