Marietta, Ohio, is one of the most charming small towns
Marietta, Ohio, made HGTV’s list of the most charming small towns in the country and here’s why:
According to HGTV: “From its beginnings as the first permanent settlement in the Northwest Territory, Marietta has become a thriving town, and its revitalized, historic downtown boasts art galleries, a music hall, museums and unique shops.”
Marietta is the oldest city in Ohio and sits on a riverboat community along the convergence of the Ohio and Muskingum rivers, so there are plenty of scenic spots and riverfront restaurants.
