The employment rates in March reflect an encouraging trend for job seekers.
The largest job gains in March 2025 were in Texas (192,100; 1.4%), New York (126,200; 1.3%) and Florida (135,000; 1.4%), according to the U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics.
According to the Georgia Department of Labor, Georgia added 23,100 jobs over the year ending in March 2025. But, you don’t necessarily have to move to the Peach State to fill some of these positions.
Remote roles have become one of the fastest-growing job categories, and Sci-Tech Today reports approximately 16.3% of Georgia’s workforce works from home or remotely.
