Newfoundland Refuses to Eat Dinner Until Grandma Adds Her Secret Ingredient
Many people don't realize that dogs can be picky eaters. Some assume animals will eat anything they're given, but the truth is, they can be a lot like toddlers when it comes to food choices. The worst part is the unpredictability. One day, chicken and rice are their absolute favorite, and the next day, they're turning their nose up at the very same thing.
Chewy the Newfie is definitely not a fan of his plain, ordinary dinner. Lucky for him, when his 96-year-old great grandma is around, the gentle giant doesn't have to settle for the usual. She's always happy to add a little "magic" to help the Newfoundland eat his supper.

Watching their latest TikTok, this dynamic duo proves once again that they just "get each other." @chewythenewfie decides his regular meal isn't exactly what he ordered, or what he wanted, for that matter, and uses his nose to push the paper plate away from where it was placed.
His Grandma says, "Chewy, don't do that. Eat your dinner." The sweet pup makes absolutely no move toward his meal, and it's clearly not appealing to him. She bends down to pick up the plate and tells him, "I'll put a grilled cheese on it!"

The Newfoundland's mom objects, saying, "Grandma, he does not need a grilled cheese!" But it's too late! She heads into the kitchen and fries up a sandwich to add as a topping to Chewy's dinner plate.
As she returns the plate, now topped with a perfectly golden-brown toasted cheese sandwich, she tells the dog, "Now you'll like it!" Of course, he quickly starts to scarf down his dinner.

These two have built quite a following, and it's easy to see why everyone loves them so much. One TikToker said, "He obviously needed the grilled cheese! Grandma always knows best!" while another joked, "My dog asked if she is looking to adopt more grand-puppies? "

Dog parents everywhere are hoping their pups don't hear about Chewy's life of luxury. If my dogs found out it was as easy as turning up their noses at dinner to get a grilled cheese, they would never eat their boring dinner again!
