Watch: Jacob Elordi navigates post-apocalyptic world in 'The Dog Stars'
April 17 (UPI) -- 20th Century Studios is teasing the new film The Dog Stars.
The studio shared a trailer for the movie Thursday featuring Euphoria actor Jacob Elordi.
Based on the Peter Heller novel, The Dog Stars takes place in a post-apocalyptic world that has been ravaged by a flu virus. Elordi plays Hig, a pilot navigating the new reality with his dog.
The cast also includes Josh Brolin, Margaret Qualley, Allison Janney and Guy Pearce.
The Dog Stars is written by Mark L. Smith and directed by Ridley Scott. The movie opens in theaters Aug. 28.
