Golden Retriever Has 'Girlfriend' Over and Makes Dad Feel Like a Third Wheel
Being with a couple when you're solo can make you feel a little out of place. When you're that dreaded third wheel, it's hard to know where to look or what to do when you're hanging out with a couple of lovebirds who are being demonstrative.
Joey the Golden Retriever had his Golden girlfriend over to watch TV, and the two were getting pretty cozy on the couch. The pooch pair barely noticed Joey's father sitting right next to them, who wasn't sure where to look when the fur babies got a bit physical.

Joey and his girlfriend practically sat on top of each other on the couch despite there being plenty of room to sprawl out. The canines romantically canoodled and poured on the PDA , oblivious to Joey's dad sitting smooshed at the end of the sofa - or maybe they were so enraptured by each other, they didn't care who was around.
The Goldens got a little steamy with their flirtatious fondling, making Joey's father uncomfortable. The dog dad wasn't sure whether to pretend he didn't see anything or leave the room. He's apparently planning to talk to Joey about the birds and the bees after the dog's lady friend leaves.
"My dog has his girlfriend over and I think it's time to have a chat," the onscreen text revealed.
Followers empathized with the dad's unenviable situation while marveling at the passion between the pooches.
"These dogs are more in love than some human couples in relationships," one remarked.
"That feeling when you realize you are the third wheel," another noted.
"He is definitely in love and in front of the parents is wild," a follower posted.
"Make sure to tell them no closed doors in the house," someone pointed out.

Joey Has a Way With Women
Apparently, Joey's charms work their magic on humans as well as canines. The Golden guy gets lots of attention from ladies wherever he goes.
A previous post highlighted several interactions where Joey was surrounded by women giving him lots of pets and praise, and he loved every minute of it.
Joey's girlfriend may want to keep him on a short leash when he's around females, just to play it safe.
