Every time I stumble upon a TV or movie-loving dog, it's almost always a Golden Retriever. Some of them prefer iPad games, while others are obsessed with cartoon shows like Bluey, but Goose, the devoted Golden Retriever, has an entertainment choice that's iconic: watching the flick Finding Nemo with his human sibling.

Finding Nemo is the perfect choice for Goose and his human brother to relax and hang out together, and you can tell by how into it the pup is. As Mom joked, Goose "takes his screen time seriously," so don't interrupt him while he's on his special sibling movie date! He seems really into whatever's happening in the scene, giving Goldens even more reasons they're some of the "best dogs for kids" ever!"

When it's not movie date time with the bro, Goose has one important thing he waits for each and every day, and it involves a giant bear hug from Dad to soothe his little doggy soul. I can't think of anything better than having this with your dog at the end of a long day.

Why Golden Retrievers Are So Good With Kids

As one of America's favorite and most beloved breeds, Golden Retrievers make excellent "nannies" for families with children because of their gentle, patient, and affectionate dispositions. As highly social, nonaggressive, friendly, and intelligent dogs, Goldens can match the energy of kids in ways other breeds can't.

Not only are Goldens calm, but thanks to the Retriever DNA, they handle things with a "soft mouth" just as they would as a hunter's sidekick, retrieving prey without injury. They may need extra physical stimulation, but that's the good thing about pairing them up with chaotic toddlers who also need to burn some energy!

Then, when the day settles, and everyone's ready to chill, put on a movie (Finding Nemo, perhaps), and these loyal and loving pups will cuddle right up to the littles and watch it with them, just like Goose did!
