With liquor license issues behind it, a restaurant and bar will soon serve drinks and more again in Allentown.

Pennsylvania Rye Co. will reopen Wednesday at 536 Hamilton St., according to signage posted on its entrance, after temporarily closing May 28.

Co-owner Jesse Haik previously told The Morning Call that they were just waiting for the liquor license to renew. He couldn’t be reached for additional comment Monday.

The restaurant announced online June 6 that that the license issues were resolved and that they were looking to hire line cooks, bartenders and servers.

Haik opened the restaurant with Dan Gonzalez in 2022.

Alongside drinks, the restaurant offers sandwiches, wings, beef skewers, shrimp cocktails, charcuterie, potato tostones and salads, the website listed.
