Aldi's $9 Luxe Candle Will Make Your Home Smell Like a Rich Summer House

As a Michigan girl, I've always fantasized about owning a waterfront summer house where the windows are always open, sheer linen curtains billow in the breeze, and everything follows an earthy color scheme. Then reality sets in: I'm sitting in my white-walled city apartment, trying to make my fan mimic a coastal breeze.

A second home on expensive lakefront property isn't happening anytime soon, but I love finding small ways to bring that warm, relaxed feeling into my everyday life. Even if I can't recreate the lakeside views of my childhood, I can capture a bit of that atmosphere indoors with the right scent, making my apartment feel like a peaceful summer escape.

Aldi

If these candles look familiar, that's because they're not entirely new. Aldi shoppers may remember the KIRKTON HOUSE Luxe Vintage Candle Cashmere Coconut Bliss candle from last year, when it quickly became a seasonal favorite thanks to its inviting blend of Sweet Amber, Fruit, Coconut Milk, Floral Amber, and Cashmere.

Now, the candle is making a return as an Aldi Find on July 8, alongside new scents Bamboo Grove and Vanilla Woods at the same affordable price point that made it fly off the shelf last summer. Whether you prefer something light and natural or warm and cozy, these Aldi Finds make it easy to find a fragrance that fits your space. Each candle is still priced at just $8.99, which is a winning deal given how luxe it looks.

Give the Glass Jar a Second Life

The candle itself may only last for the summer, but the jar will live on year-round. The amber hues and embossed glass are a perfect match for my space. I'm already thinking of repurposing it into a dedicated space for my growing crochet hook collection. Removing the wax from a used candle is pretty easy, and I've done it a few times thanks to helpful tutorials.

After a quick cleanup, the jar is attractive enough to fit in any room. Using it as a makeup brush holder would add flair to any vanity setup. Or you can bring it to the office to show off your upcycling savvy. There's also the option of turning it into a vase with fresh flowers or faux stems.

Between the chic, effortless style and the opportunity for reuse, this candle isn't just a seasonal item-it's one that can stick around after summer ends. My waterfront house daydreams might still be far off in the future, but for now, a trip to Aldi and an $8.99 KIRKTON HOUSE Luxe Vintage Candle Cashmere Coconut Bliss candle is enough to bring those beachy aspirations right to my coffee table.
