According to an exclusive report from Us Weekly, Qualley, 31, was the one who initiated the split after the couple experienced ongoing challenges throughout their three-year marriage. The insider pointed to demanding schedules, distance, and trust issues as contributing factors in the marriage's breakdown.
The pair reportedly tried to make it work as recently as a few months ago. But according to the source, something shifted for Qualley. "At some point, the rose-colored glasses came off," the insider says, "and she felt she needed to take a step back." Antonoff, for his part, had reportedly confided in friends that the marriage had grown difficult.
