9 Valley children offer COVD-19 safety tips in new commercial
YOUNGSTOWN — To encourage the public to stay safe and healthy during the holiday season, Mahoning County Public Health is rolling out a new commercial featuring nine Mahoning Valley children offering tips and advice, including wearing masks, handwashing and social distancing.
"Children provide the most honest, straight-forward answers on any subject," Mahoning County Health Commissioner Ryan Tekac said in a news release. "They've been impacted by COVID-19 as much as adults, and these kids provided great responses on how they are simply keeping their friends and families safe during the holiday season."
The 30-second "Kids Say the Smartest Things" commercial, which can be viewed below, also can be seen on local broadcast TV stations and MCPH's social media platforms. Three additional extended versions of the commercial will be released on MCPH's social media platforms over the coming weeks.
