App lets doctors virtually screen patients for coronavirus

These video visits are available free of charge to those experiencing symptoms and those who may have been exposed to someone who has already been diagnosed with COVID-19. According to Mercy Health, doctors can virtually screen assess mild to moderate symptoms, and discuss next steps with patients from the safety of their own homes.

Video visits are available through the Bon Secours 24/7 mobile app, which is downloadable for free in the Apple and Google Play app stores. For a free screening visit, use the code CARE2020.

The Bon Secours app is for non-emergencies only and anyone with a medical emergency should call 911.
