YOUNGSTOWN — The students at Austintown Community Church Preschool Childcare Center went on a “Journey to Bethlehem” on Dec. 17 and 18.

The annual, interactive play is put on by parents, grandparents and volunteers at the church, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, for the children attending the preschool to help enhance their spiritual growth and understanding of Jesus’ birth, according to a news release. The preschool staff decorated the upstairs hallway into several scenes in order to replicate the journey that Mary and Joseph took to Bethlehem.

Austintown Community Church Preschool Childcare Center will begin registration in February for the summer and for the 2020-21 school year for children age 3 to 10.
