Camp F.R.I.E.N.D. (Finding Rewards In Every New Day) is an inclusive day camp experience for children and teens with autism and their friends. It will take place Monday through July 23 and Aug. 16-20. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to  2:30 p.m. each day.

The camp costs $99 per student per week. More information about registration is available here.

“Inclusion is not just the philosophy of camp, but one of ASMV’s primary goals,” Robin Suzelis, director of the Autism Society of Mahoning Valley, said in a news release. “It is our hope that these types of community-based activities will help the Mahoning Valley as a whole be more aware that students with autism and related disabilities deserve the same opportunities.”
