Boardman businesses band together for Halloween fun

One Hot Cookie will host a dog costume contest at 3:30 p.m. and at 5 p.m., Suzy’s Dogs & Drafts will host a kid’s costume contest.

Businesses in the plazas on the south side of Route 224, from 1295 to1393 Boardman Canfield Road, stretching between the Blue Wolf Tavern and Hot Head Burritos will distribute candy and treats to costumed youths from 2-5 p.m. on Oct. 27.

BOARDMAN — Several township businesses are banding together to provide a safe trick or treat experience for children — and dogs — on Sunday, Oct. 27.

Businesses in the plazas on the south side of Route 224, from 1295 to 1393 Boardman Canfield Road, stretching between the Blue Wolf Tavern and Hot Head Burritos will distribute candy and treats to costumed youths from 2 to 5 p.m. 

One Hot Cookie will host a dog costume contest at 3:30 p.m. and at 5 p.m., Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts will host a kid’s costume contest. 

Both contests will have treats for all participants and prizes for the top 3 winners. Participating businesses include: Blue Wolf Tavern, Oh Donut Co., Spruce Home Décor & Gifts, One Hot Cookie, GiaAngelo’s, Suzie’s Dogs & Drafts, Mission Taco, Branch Street Coffee Roasters, Gorants Candies, Grey Boutique, The Simple Greek, The Orange Avocado and Hot Head Burritos.
