Boardman graduate qualifies for 2021 Olympic swimming trials

BOARDMAN — Callen Aulizia, a 2018 graduate of Boardman High School and a member of the U.S. Naval Academy, qualified for the 2021 Olympic swimming trials.

Aulizia qualified in the 50-meter freestyle with a time of 23.11 in long-course meters. 

The trials will take place at the CHI Health Center Natatorium in Omaha, Neb., beginning June 4. The top 2 finishers in each event at the trials will move on to the Olympic Games in Tokyo, Japan, this summer.

While swimming for the Spartans, Aulizia was an All-American in the 50-yard freestyle and a four-year state qualifier. He holds four Boardman High School swimming records.
