BOARDMAN — Boardman Local Schools has changed its meals distribution plan for Monday (March 30) to only at Boardman High School.
The meal distribution will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Boardman High School parking lot.
The location has been moved to a single point of distribution to more efficiently serve families, reduce wait times in line and to avoid the traffic congestion occurring at West Boulevard and Robinwood Lane.
Regardless of income, all children from the ages of 1-18 are eligible for meals: five breakfasts and five lunches for the week. Children should be present at pickup.
Meal distribution is available as long as supplies last. This will be a drive-thru type of pickup so families will not congregate in lines. Meals will be handed out from doors 8 and 9 of the high school.
On March 23, 7,750 meals were handed out.
