CANFIELD — The 174th Canfield Fair will not be open to the public, according to a release from the fair board this morning.

The event will be limited to the Junior Fair, as "conducting the full fair is not possible." The fair will follow guidance from Mahoning County Public Health and the Ohio Department of Health, according to the release.

All Junior Fair participants and/or their parents will be required to sign a COVID-19 waiver.

The news comes after two weeks of spiking coronavirus cases in Ohio and specifically Trumbull County.
