BREAKING | Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s and Nordstrom closing all stores
Macy's, Bloomingdale's and Nordstrom announced today they will be closing all stores due to the coronavirus pandemic, USA Today reports. Online stores will remain open.
Macy's and Bloomingdale locations will close all stores at the end of business today until March 31. Nordstrom announced that it stores will close for two weeks, starting today.
As of the store's fourth quarter, Macy's owns 775 stores, incuding Bloomingdale's and Bluemercury lcoations. Nordstrom operates 380 stores.
J.C. Penney and Kohl's currently say they are reducing store hours.
Despite the closure of an anchor store, Southern Park Mall plans to stay open, but with adjusted hours. An official said the mall will now be open Monday to Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
