WARREN/YOUNGSTOWN — Coldwell Banker EvenBay Real Estate has added Realtor Amanda Wood to its team of real estate professionals.

Wood received her Ohio Real Estate License this year. She also is a property manager with more than six years of experience.

Event to celebrate opening of JCPenney Beauty at Eastwood Mall

NILES — JCPenney is launching a new, inclusive, in-store beauty shopping experience with a grand opening event at 11:15 a.m. Friday at Eastwood Mall. 

Niles will be one of 10 cities to introduce JCPenney Beauty ahead of the nationwide rollout beginning in 2023. The JCPenney location in Niles will celebrate its grand opening with a public ribbon-cutting event, hosted by the store’s general manager and associates.

The retailer’s new in-store and online experience reflects customers’ beauty wants and needs, no matter their age, gender, race, skin tone, hair type, beauty regimen or budget, a news release states. The store will feature more than 170 beauty brands.

JCPenney Beauty is partnering with Thirteen Lune, an inclusive e-commerce site founded by Nyakio Grieco, a beauty entrepreneur and founder of Nyakio Beauty, and Patrick Herning, the founder of 11 Honoré, a luxury plus-size fashion label. Thirteen Lune is designed to inspire the discovery of beauty brands created by Black, indigenous and people of color founders that resonate with all backgrounds, the release states.

Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh to celebrate new restaurants

Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh will have a grand opening celebration for its three Mahoning Valley locations today. 

The three new Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh restaurants in the Valley are located at:

  • 1993 Boardman-Canfield Road, Boardman;
  • 2389 Niles-Cortland Road SE, Niles;
  • 2431 E. State St., Hermitage, Pa.

Each restaurant today will offer the first 50 people at each location a free handheld (gyro, wrap, pita sandwich or salad) and $5 entrées throughout the day.

The Boardman location will have a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:30 a.m. to kick off the celebration.

Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh, a WOWorks brand, is a fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant that offers made-to-order entrées.

Gracylane to celebrate opening of new location in Boardman

BOARDMAN — Gracylane, a local gift boutique, will celebrate the official grand opening of its new location in the Shops at Boardman Park on Saturday. 

The event will begin at 10 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The first 50 customers will receive a Vera Bradley Tote, with additional free gifts from the other brands carried in the store. Customers will have the opportunity to win prizes at the top of every hour until closing.

The boutique is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sundays.
