BUSINESS UPDATES | Marvin Hershberger joins Burgan Real Estate team
CANFIELD — Burgan Real Estate has added Realtor Marvin Hershberger to its team.
"Throughout my life, I have always been passionate about learning from strong leaders and how to bring value into our world," Hershberger, who was born in West Farmington, said in a news release. "Being welcomed into the Burgan Bunch is an amazing opportunity for me to learn from amazing leaders, like Patrick [Burgan, co-owner and broker], and Sue [Filipovich, co-owner], while truly making the lives of my clients better."
Hershberger previously worked for Kraftmaid in the pallet industry for 27 years.

Plibrico Company relocates Salem construction office
SALEM — Plibrico Company, a global supplier of industrial refractories, has relocated its Salem construction office to a bigger facility at 949 S. Broadway Ave.
The company will have a virtual open house Tuesday (March 16). The interactive open house can be accessed here.
The larger location will support its continued development of innovative refractory products and service to customers while providing an improved work environment for employees, a news release states.
The Salem office is one of five that Northbrook, Ill.-based Plibrico operates in the United States.
"As we look to the future, our new facility in Salem will provide Plibrico staff with space to accommodate growth and help us keep pace with our clients' needs," Brad Taylor, president and CEO of Plibrico, said in the release.
Regional chamber to present Spirit Awards at annual meeting
NILES — The Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber will present its annual Spirit Awards at its annual meeting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday (March 17) at the Eastwood Event Centre, 5555 Youngstown Warren Road.
General Motors is the recipient of the Spirit of the Valley Award. Eastern Gateway Community College, Kent State University at Trumbull and Youngstown State University are recipients of the Spirit of the Chamber Award.
Slade Gardner, founder of Big Metal Additive, will be the keynote speaker. Big Metal Additive's products include satellite components, construction machinery repair parts, spacecraft development articles, automotive chassis, a 21-foot diameter unmanned underwater vehicle and a 50-foot ocean-capable cargo transport.
Gardner previously was the technology and strategy leader for implementation of advanced manufacturing and materials at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company Advanced Technology Center.
