She is currently launching three new enterprises: YO Cleanup, Fixin My Hood and Bar Initiative.

2 Youngstown businesses to have ribbon-cutting ceremonies

Two Mahoning Valley businesses will celebrate their grand openings this week with ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

The ribbon-cutting for The Take Out, 1852 Oak St., is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday. Tori's Custom Treasures, 2000 Canfield Road, will have its ceremony at 10 a.m. Friday.

The Take Out restaurant is owned and operated by business partners and friends Waymond Chambers and Antonio Owens, both of Youngstown. They became partners in 2019 with a food truck venture, In The Truck Eatery. The Take Out restaurant features barbecue (ribs, chicken, brisket, etc.) and daily specials, like Walking Tacos Tuesdays where patrons can enjoy a taco mix bag.

Tori's Custom Treasures specializes in handmade clothing, accessories and more. Owner Tori Risner often works with resin to create art pieces that are sold in the store. For more information, call 330-687-9417.
