BOARDMAN — Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is having a national hiring event at all of its stores and distribution centers Oct. 5.

On-the-spot interviews will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

According to a news release, the company offers competitive pay, 20% employee discount, benefits for full-time employees and paid time off.

Youngstown Drip to celebrate 1 year in business, expansion

CANFIELD — The Youngstown Drip IV Bar will celebrate one year in business and the expansion of its office to the entire 45 Manor Hill Dr., Suite 300, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at noon Friday.

The Youngstown Drip provides a holistic alternative to health, offering IV hydration therapy for immune support, muscle recovery and energy, as well as vitamin injections.

“Youngstown Drip was established as a response to the increased emphasis placed on sickness in our society,” owner Regina Esarco said in a news release. “We are an IV vitamin and hydration therapy establishment that promotes wellness at all times so you can live a happier and healthier life.”

Joyce Loychik, Melicia White to discuss disability in the workplace

YOUNGSTOWN — Joyce Loychik and Melicia White of Compass Family & Community Services will discuss disability in the workplace at the Rotary Club of Youngstown’s weekly meeting today at the Wick Park pavilion.

Lunch will begin at noon, and the speakers’ presentation will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Loychik has worked for Compass for 32 years. As Employment Outreach coordinator, she has worked directly and indirectly with people who have some barriers and want and need vocational guidance, counseling and support to achieve success in the workforce. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Bowling Green State University and a Master of Science degree in clinical rehabilitation counseling from Kent State University. 

White, an employment specialist and 14-year employee of Compass, helps individuals of all ages and abilities to overcome challenges and achieve their employment and education goals. She graduated from Chatham University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology, with a minor in multicultural studies.
