WARREN — Through collaborative efforts of the city and Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, security cameras have been installed around Quinby Park, 525 Austin Ave. SW.

The cameras were purchased and installed with grant funding from the Raymond John Wean Foundation and the The Community Foundation of the Mahoning Valley.

“Our parks are a priority to this administration, and that has to include safety. We have been working with our partners to continue to make improvements, and this is a big step forward,” Mayor Doug Franklin said in a news release.

Earlier this year, TNP released its Warren City Parks Action Plan, detailing recommendations to improve the city’s parks system. The plan was created from the results of a data collection process and was compiled for each park to create a park description, history, inventory, park conditions, neighborhood accessibility, usage, public outreach, natural resources and priorities for maintenance and development.
