City Schools CEO sets community input sessions

YOUNGSTOWN -- City Schools Chief Executive Officer Justin Jennings has set several monthly meetings to share school district information  information and to hear from the community.

His monthly public update meetings will be at noon on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning today, in the Community Room at 20 W. Wood St. Those will be public meetings, open to everyone.

“I talk a lot about transparency and I mean it,” CEO Jennings said on a news release. “I understand how important it is in building relationships and establishing trust in the community.”


He also plans to meet with members of the faith-based community on the second Tuesday of each month at 8 a.m. in the his office, 20 W. Wood St.
    
The fourth Tuesday of each month, he plans sessions in both the morning and the afternoon with parents/guardians and community members. The morning meetings will be at 8 a.m. and the afternoon meetings will be at 4:30 p.m., both in the CEO Office. 

Participation at each session will be limited to the first 12 people each who call the CEO's executive assistant at 330-744-6920.
