CONSTRUCTION UPDATE | Route 11 basin repairs set for Vienna, Fowler townships
The following construction projects are anticipated to affect highways in Trumbull and Columbiana counties this week. All outlined work is weather permitting.
Trumbull County
State Route 11 catch basin repairs in Vienna and Fowler townships: The highway northbound between SR 82 and SR 305 is reduced to one lane through late September.
SR 88 erosion repairs, Mecca Township: Beginning on Monday, the southern fishing platform and parking lot at the SR 88 causeway over Mosquito Lake will be closed through late October. The northern fishing platform and parking lot at the SR 88 causeway over Mosquito Lake is scheduled to reopen today.

Columbiana County
SR 11 resurfacing project: One 11-foot lane of traffic is maintained from the Columbiana/Mahoning line to just south of the SR 344 interchange. Completion date is Sept. 30.
U.S.Route 30 (Lincoln Way) traffic signal upgrade: Project includes signal upgrades at the intersections of U.S. 30 (Lincoln Way) with SR 45/SR 154, Beaver Street, Market Street and Jefferson Street. Completion date is Oct. 31.
U.S. Route 30 resurfacing project: Resurfacing is under way from SR 7/SR 267 to SR 170. One lane of traffic is maintained in each direction. Completion date is Oct. 31.
SR 7 bridge replacement: Located east of Columbiana between SR 14 and Metz Road, traffic is maintained via temporary traffic signals. Completion date is June 30.
Safety project in East Palestine: Project includes the installation of pavement markings, traffic signal upgrade, and pedestrian signal upgrades. Traffic is maintained via flaggers when necessary. Completion date is Sept. 30.
Multiple Columbiana County routes to be resurfaced: Project includes SR 45 in Salem from Township Road 410 to U.S. Route 62, SR 558 from SR 45 to SR 517 and SR 9 from the Carroll/Columbiana line to U.S. Route 30. Completion date is Nov. 30.
