COLUMBUS — Columbiana County made the list of the 10 Ohio counties with most new coronavirus cases per capita today.

According to the chart, Columbiana has 111.9 cases per 100,000 people.

In discussing Columbiana's spot on the list, Gov. Mike DeWine specifically called out flea markets. Mahoning Matters wrote about the scene at Rogers Flea Market on July 31. Among the hundreds who had gathered, it appeared less than half were masked.

He also cited issues at two long-term care facilities in Columbiana County.

DeWine asked the people who run Ohio flea markets to do everything they can to maintain social distancing.
