DeWine turns focus on local authorities’ role in combating COVID-19 crisis
COLUMBUS — As Ohio continues to report staggering numbers of new coronavirus cases, Gov. Mike DeWine put focus on local authorities to stem the spread.
"I am today asking leaders in every single county to redouble your efforts," DeWine said. He described a plan to speak with leaders of counties with the highest incidence of coronavirus spread about ideas they have for responding to the surge.
He pointed to Ohioan's personal lives as sources of spread, not businesses.
"This is about personal responsibility and what each and every one of us can do," DeWine said.
