Dillard’s mass vaccination site continues next week with Moderna

YOUNGSTOWN — Next week's mass vaccination clinic in Boardman — which was affected by Tuesday's pause on the Johnson & Johnson coronavirus vaccine — will continue as scheduled using the Moderna-produced vaccine.

Mahoning County Public Health today announced 1,000 appointment slots are available now for the clinic April 23 at the former Dillard's department store inside Boardman's Southern Park Mall.

You must be at least 18 years old to receive the Moderna vaccine.

To sign up, use the agency's ArmorVax scheduling system at MahoningHealth.org. Those who need help with online scheduling can call 330-270-2855 and select option 9.

Follow-up doses of the two-shot vaccine will be set for Friday, May 21.

New appointment dates and times will be released each week and based on demand and vaccine availability, according to the agency.
