YOUNGSTOWN — AMVETS Riders Chapter 44 hosted the Second annual Memorial Poker Run on Aug. 8.

The ride featured "Judy's Angels" in honor of Judy Swanter Dasen, who lost her battle with small cell lung cancer on Aug. 2, 2018 just two months after her diagnosis.

More than 120 motorcycles participated on the run, twice as many as in 2019. Among the guests were Jan Brown, AMVETS national commander from Washington D.C. and riders from Indiana.

All money raised will be donated to the Hope Cancer Center in Dasen's name.
