BOARDMAN — Pittsburgh-based fast-casual Indian restaurant Choolaah Indian BBQ is expanding to Boardman.

The restaurant features a fresh twist on classic Indian recipes using custom-built tandoor clay ovens.

It will be located at 1051 Boardman-Canfield Road. The company plans to open the new location in mid-to-late summer, said Wholesome International Chief Creative Officer Jay Nesbitt.

The chain has five other locations, including one in Orange Village in Cuyahoga County. Another site is planned for the Ohio City neighborhood in Cleveland, Cleveland Scene reported.
