YOUNGSTOWN — Blues-rock guitarist Joe Bonamassa will bring his fall tour to the Covelli Centre Nov. 27.
Bonamassa's latest project is "Now Serving: Royal Tea Live at the Ryman." It will be released Friday on CD and June 18 on DVD and Blu-ray.
During the pandemic, Bonamassa has been busy with his non-profit Keeping the Blues Alive Foundation through the Fueling Musicians Program. This relief fund is dedicated to assisting touring musicians unable to make a living due to the pandemic.
This concert is one of 33 on his fall tour.
As a professional musician for more than 30 years, Bonamassa continues to blaze a remarkably versatile artistic trail.
His career began onstage opening for B.B. King in 1989 when he was only 12 years old. Today, he is hailed worldwide as one of the greatest guitar players of his generation and is an ever-evolving singer-songwriter with more than 40 albums to date all under his own label, J&R Adventures.
In addition to his music and shows, Joe continues to crank out weekly programming for his radio show “Different Shades Of Blue” for Sirius XM’s Bluesville channel.
Tickets will be available through a Ticketmaster presale from 10 a.m. Wednesday until 10 p.m. Thursday, using the password COVELLI. Prices range from $202 to $72 plus fees.
Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through TicketMaster or at the Southwoods Health Box Office.
