Lit Youngstown offers Armeni birdbath raffle

YOUNGSTOWN — Lit Foundation is sponsoring a raffle with the prize being a birdbath created by sculptor Tony Armeni.

The birdbath is on display at Westside Bowl.

Tickets cost two for $5 and are on sale at Westside Bowl. Tickets also are available by sending a check to Lit Foundation, 323 Wick Ave. No. 9, Youngstown, 44503.

Proceeds will be split between the artist and Lit Youngstown.

The winning ticket will be drawn on July 12. The winner will receive delivery and installation (local) or shipping to anywhere in the continental U.S.

Lit Foundation also is seeking six PenPals ages 4-12. The organization already has matched 11 local PenPals with those from as far away as Germany.

Interests of the PenPals range from track and field, nature, Disney, jazz, ballet and sloths to scary movies. For more information and to register, click.
