LORDSTOWN — A new partnership between Lordstown Motors Corp. and Camping World offers the vehicle service and collision infrastructure for Lordstown Motors Corp., executives announced Tuesday.

Camping World maintains 170 service locations and about 2,000 service bays nationwide, including several locations in Ohio, said CEO Marcus Lemonis.

Lemonis, also the host of CNBC reality TV show "The Profit", also announced Camping World is now working with Lordstown Motors on an electrified RV solutions based on the Endurance platform.

That includes a new lithium battery pack for travel trailers to replace conventional gasoline onboard generators and the first all-electric, high volume production RV, according to a release from Lordstown Motors.

Lemonis, who said he's been in the RV business for 20 years, noted Lordstown Motors has already crossed the biggest hurdle to the market: having a "world-class" facility and talent.

"The process and the people are the two most important things," he told reporters during a Tuesday appearance at the 6.2-million square-foot facility along Hallock Young Road.

"What made us comfortable was not only their knowledge of the battery technology ... but their knowledge of the automotive space."
