Mahoning auditor’s office again limiting in-person business
YOUNGSTOWN — The Mahoning County Auditor's Office will limit physical access to the public beginning Monday, due to rising COVID-19 cases, according to a Friday release.
The public may drop off documents in a box located in the hall just outside the office, which is located inside the county courthouse, 120 Market St. Transactions for attorneys and title companies will be handled through those boxes.
Documents dropped off will be collected and processed throughout the day, reads the release. The auditor's staff will also be taking phone calls at 330-740-2010. The public can also arrange in-person appointments at that number.
The office has also made "a multitude of forms and instructions" available on the auditor's county website.
"Our goal is to continue to provide outstanding service to taxpayers and businesses while protecting them and my staff," Auditor Ralph Meacham is quoted in the release. "I will continue to do that as guidelines and restrictions change."
