NORTH LIMA — Mahoning Valley Sojourn to the Past will host an anti-racism workshop at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 22) at Mount Olivet United Church of Christ, 410 W. South Range Road.

The presentation is outside, and participants are encouraged to bring a lawn chair.

The purpose of the presentation is to make people aware of the history of racism; give people a perspective of racism from the Black American point of view; explain racial terms and how they apply in today’s environment; and discuss steps that need to be taken.
