Niles sets COVID-19 vaccine clinic for next month
NILES — City residents aged 18 and older can sign up for a coronavirus vaccination clinic set for Tuesday, April 6 at the Niles Wellness Center, 213 Sharkey Drive, in Waddell Park.
Appointments and pre-registration are required. Contact the mayor's office at 330-544-9000, extension 1101, to schedule an appointment.
Registrants are asked to print and complete a pre-registration form found on the city's website, and bring it with them to the clinic, along with proof of residency. Paper forms are also available at Niles City Hall, 34 W. State St.
The vaccine will require two doses, suggesting the clinic is offering either the Pfizer- or Moderna-produced shots. Those who receive the first shot on April 6 should be prepared to return for their second shot on May 4, at the same time and location.
The clinic will be conducted by the city and officials from the Trumbull County Combined Health District, who will administer the vaccine.
