ONE Health Ohio offers drive-thru COVID-19 testing Friday

YOUNGSTOWN — ONE Health Ohio will offer drive-thru COVID-19 testing — for anyone at least 10 years old — from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday at RISE Recovery, 3132 Belmont Ave.

Space and testing is limited. Participants must preregister by noon Thursday by calling Deb Stanovcak at 330-884-6122.

Participants should bring their ID and insurance card. The test is free for participants, but insurance will be billed.

"We are ramping up efforts to identify, isolate and contact trace people with the disease," Dr. Maria Kowal, chief medical officer at ONE Health Ohio, said in a news release. "Testing is a vital part of understanding the scale of the outbreak and how it is unfolding. The data will help us develop a better picture of the epidemiology and course of this disease."
