Opera Western Reserve receives $10K donation from charitable trust

The funds will be used in support of the 2021 fall production of "Romeo + Juliet."

YOUNGSTOWN — Opera Western Reserve has received a $10,000 contribution from the Frank and Pearl Gelbman Charitable Trust in support of the 2021 fall production of "Romeo + Juliet."  

The grant is the second of a three-year commitment in support of OWR by the Gelbman Charitable Trust, which is administered by Huntington Bank.  

For its fall season, OWR will present "Romeo + Juliet," an adaptation of the works of William Shakespeare and Charles Gounod. The production will be presented live Nov. 12 in the Stambaugh Auditorium Concert Hall.

Seating may be limited, and guests will have the option of attending in person or purchasing a Digital Access Pass to watch online.
