CORTLAND — A Thursday COVID-19 vaccine clinic at the Trumbull County Fairgrounds will have 800 available appointment slots, according to a release today from Trumbull County Combined Health District.

The two-shot Pfizer vaccine will be administered from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at the fairgrounds, 899 Everett Hull Road.

Recipients, who must be aged 16 or older, should enter the fairgrounds at Gate A from Bazetta Road.

Pre-registration is required. Visit gettheshot.coronavirus.ohio.gov and enter access code BXRHJ1NS43.

To speed up the process, health officials "strongly encourage" registrants download, print and complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Administration record — which can be downloaded here — and bring it with them to their appointment, along with a driver's license or other form of identification.

The Pfizer vaccine has been approved for those aged 16 and older. Recipients aged 16 and 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must bring identification or a birth certificate as proof of age.

The vaccine will not be offered to anyone younger than 16 or pregnant or breastfeeding women.
