YOUNGSTOWN — Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley, 962 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., will serve free Thanksgiving meals from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.

“It’s such a blessing to be able to share these donated meals with people who would otherwise not be able to celebrate Thanksgiving,” Lynn Wyant, chief development officer of the Rescue Mission, said in a news release. “We can’t thank our Valley enough for providing the funds and turkeys. God’s grace is amazing.”

Free parking is available in the lot across from the resident building.

Former and current Rescue Mission staff members and former clients are invited to celebrate Thanksgiving a day early with a Blessing Luncheon at noon today in the mission’s dining hall. The luncheon will include a full Thanksgiving meal and gives former employees and clients the opportunity to reconnect.

For information about the Thanksgiving meals, call Mike Byers, kitchen manager, at 330-744-5485. For information about the mission, visit its website or Facebook page.
