Restaurant to host event to support Monica Deavers for Austintown trustee

AUSTINTOWN — Charly's Family Restaurant will host Community Night at Charly's on Saturday in support of Monica Deavers for Austintown trustee.

The event will be located outside the restaurant from 6 to 9 p.m.

Live entertainment, a bounce house, a dunk tank, food, face painting and games will be available. Summer food options will be available for purchase.



Deavers has owned Charly's the past 11 years. She is a lifelong Austintown resident and has worked at the restaurant since its opening in 1986.

A 1983 graduate of Fitch High School, Deavers has two children who attended Austintown schools.

Her goal if elected is "to bring pride back to our community and communication," according to a news release.
