Rock band Train to make Youngstown stop in August

YOUNGSTOWN — Rock band Train will make a stop at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre on Aug. 25.

Vertical Horizon will be the opening act.

Tickets, ranging in price from $42.50 to $99.50, will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday on and at the Southwoods Health Box Office inside Covelli Centre. Presale tickets will be available from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday on Use password SUMMER.

Train is known for songs such as “Meet Virginia,” “Calling All Angels,” “Hey, Soul Sister” and “Drops of Jupiter,” which won two Grammy Awards in 2002.
