Salem Regional Medical Center to offer COVID vaccine at 3 locations

SALEM — Salem Regional Medical Center will administer the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at three area locations this month.

The Moderna vaccine will be administered by appointment only to individuals age 18 and older at the following locations:

  • 8 a.m. April 21 and 28: Salem Regional Medical Center, 1995 E. State St., Salem;
  • Noon to 6 p.m. April 21 and 7 a.m. to noon April 28: Columbiana Family Care Center, 116 Carriage Drive, Columbiana;
  • 9 a.m. to noon April 26: SRMC Primary Care, 28886 state Route 62, Damascus.

Vaccine appointments can be requested online via SRMC's website. Users must complete the COVID-19 Vaccine Schedule Request form and click "submit request." Those requesting an appointment also may call SRMC's COVID-19 vaccine registration line at 330-332-7511.

No walk-in vaccinations will be given.

The Moderna vaccine requires a second dose approximately 28 days after the first dose. Second dose scheduling information will be provided at each location.
