Scrappers will take the field Wednesday for 2021 home opener

NILES — The Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ 2021 home opener Wednesday will end with a bang.

The Scrappers will face the State College Spikes at 7:05 p.m. in their home opener at Eastwood Field. There will be a fireworks show after the game.

It’s Military Appreciation Night. Fans can get two free upper-box-seat tickets with a military ID at the Chevy All-Stars Box Office at Eastwood Field. It's also $2 Pizza Joe's Pizza Slice Night at the concession stands.

Upcoming Scrappers games at Eastwood Field:

  • 7:05 p.m. Thursday vs. State College Spikes: It’s Buck Night, and general admission tickets, hot dogs and drinks are $1.
  • 7:05 p.m. Friday vs. Frederick Keys: There will be a fireworks show after the game.
  • 7:05 p.m. Saturday vs. Frederick Keys: ZOOperstars! will provide entertainment during the game. 
  • 4:05 p.m. Sunday vs. Frederick Keys: Bring a nonperishable food item for Second Harvest Food Bank of the Mahoning Valley or new children's books and receive a free general admission ticket to the game.
