YOUNGSTOWN — Stambaugh Auditorium has released The Digital Concert Hall, an app that gives users access to local entertainment.

Several recently recorded performances are available to download or stream in the app, and new content will be added throughout the year. Content will include recitals and performances from organists on the E.M. Skinner Pipe Organ, Opera Western Reserve and Stambaugh Youth Concert Band, as well as documentaries and interviews with artists.

The Digital Concert Hall app is free to download from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, Amazon Appstore, Apple TV and Roku TV. Some premium content can be unlocked through in-app purchases. Full download instructions and links are available here.

“It was Henry Stambaugh’s wish for a public auditorium to be constructed for “the enjoyment, pleasure, entertainment and education of the citizens of Youngstown and surrounding areas,” Matt Pagac, CEO/COO of Stambaugh Auditorium, said in a news release. “Over the last several months, we have had to work on adjusting our business model to offer virtual and hybrid events. Now we are able to take that one step further by making that content easily accessible to the community, and worldwide.”
